The Convertible Cuttings Line is an in-line sticking and planting system that brings the work to the worker. Filled and dibbled trays move down the line and are delivered automatically to each workstation, so a crew member stays on sticking or planting instead of fetching, carrying and stacking flats.  Variable-speed belts let you match the pace of the crew, integrated pause and standby controls stop and restart production without disrupting the line, and empty trays are fed back to workers automatically in cuttings line mode. When the season changes, the upper belt lifts out and the same line converts to single-layer operation for a range of container types, with folding workstation tables that store compact between runs.
