Ebb and flood benching gives growers automatic, even sub-irrigation for almost any potted crop — from mini 2” kalanchoes to large planter pots. FDA-approved PVC polystyrene liners sit inside durable aluminum or stainless-steel frames, keeping water contained and cleanup simple. Choose ebb-and-flood with recirculation to recover water and fertilizer, or drain-to-waste when your operation calls for it.

  • Automatic, Even Watering Without the Guesswork

Water floods the bench surface to a controlled depth, sub-irrigating every pot evenly from the root zone up. No dry spots, no overwatering on the ends. The system handles the watering cycle automatically — your team just sets the parameters

FDA-Approved Liners Built for Food Safety and Durability

PVC polystyrene trays are FDA approved and UV stable, inserted directly into standard bench frames. They contain water cleanly, resist degradation over time, and make the system a solid first step toward full recirculation. Replacement liners are available for older tables that need an upgrade.

Flexible Enough for Any Pot Size

Not every operation needs full recirculation. If your base system is small or your water runoff is minimal, draining to waste may make more financial sense. AdeptAg can help you evaluate the tradeoffs — seasonal water costs, fertilizer loss, and local regulations — and design a system that fits now with the option to adapt later.

    Rolling, Stationary, or Gliding Options

Configure your bench layout around your workflow. Rolling benches maximize growing space, stationary benches hold fixed positions, and gliding options offer smooth lateral movement for operations that need wide-path access.
